Our Jayco RV is for sale! Exactly 2 years ago today, we fell in love with the 2017 Jayco Northpoint 377rlbh. We didn’t buy it that day, but we found one just like it a couple months later. It was our home and our landing pad for all our adventures for over 18 months, and we have wavered back and forth, but have come to the decision that we should sell it.
This is a mid-bunk model, meaning there is a room in the middle of the RV with bunks inside, and a loft overhead. We loved this layout because it left us with a (relative) ton of living space. As a family of 6, we spent a lot of time together in our living/dining/kitchen area, and we never felt cramped.
Let me tell you more about our Jayco RV for sale, and you tell me if you – or someone you know- wants to buy it! Pricing at the bottom of the post.
Our oldest kid (9 when we launched, 11 when we landed) slept in the loft. We made a privacy curtain for him, and he slept on a twin mattress up here. He also had a 25″ TV mounted to his wall. We removed the TV and the twin mattress, but the RV will come with the TV mount, the privacy curtain, and two RV bunk mattresses- used just a couple times.
Our two middles (7 and 4 when we launched, 8.5 and 6 when we landed) slept in the bunk room. We removed the narrow flip down bunk bed and the pull out sofa in here, and custom built a bunk bed with foam mattresses cut to size. It’s shorter than a standard twin, but a great size for younger kids. There’s space underneath for plastic toy bins. This room also has a desk, TV that will stay, built in DVD/audio system, two small drawers, cabinet storage, and a closet. If you don’t have a need for the bunks, they come out easily.
My husband and I, along with our youngest (1 when we launched, 2.5 when we landed) slept in a king size bed in the master bedroom at the front of the RV. We removed the kingsize bed and replaced it with a brand new queen bed that it will come with, but you could squeeze a king back in there. This room also has a spacious closet, tons of under-bed storage space, a TV that will stay, a built in dresser, AND a stacked washer and dryer that are workhorses.
There is one bathroom. It has a full-size shower, sink, step-pedal toilet, and 3 storage cabinets.
The tall pantry storage is very deep and holds a lot.
We were able to give our two little boys baths by putting a foldable tub in the bottom of the shower that easily stored away when not in use. Will consider including if you have a need for it.
The toilet has been cleaned down to the tanks, which have been thoroughly flushed.
The kitchen has a full-size residential refrigerator with built in ice machine and water dispenser. We’ll also include the 4 color-coded cups that hang on the front. They are awesome for keeping dishes to a minimum.
Speaking of dishes, we installed a single-drawer dishwasher, and it was a real RV life game-changer.
The double sinks can be topped with countertop cutouts, giving you even more prep space on the already spacious island.
We replaced the microwave in February, 2019 with a brand new, residential size model.
There is a compact gas stove and oven.
The pantry has plenty of storage, including a pull out shelf with an outlet, making it the perfect spot for a coffee maker.
While we traveled, we stored the brand new sofas that came with the RV, and we put them back in just last month. They are in like-new condition. The sofa has a pull out bed, and the loveseat has two recliners and cup holders built in.
The dining table comes with two chairs with built in storage, and a storage bench. The table can be extended to seat up to 5 comfortably, and the top opens up for storage below.
The electric fireplace is a great way to keep the living area warm when trying to save propane. It’s very efficient.
The TV was replaced in January, 2019 with a 4k smart TV. It retracts behind the fireplace with the push of a button. It’s wired into the DVD/audio system above. This also plays audio on the speakers outside, too.
We will include a Dish Satellite system with two receiver boxes. We also installed a King omni-directional antenna to help pick up local stations for free.
There is a built-in vacuum system that includes a very handy floor vent to sweep dirt into- another luxury we didn’t even have in our house.
We will leave the 3 stacked shoe storage bins. They hold a lot without taking up much floor space.
We will also consider leaving the retractable mesh baby gate for keeping littles in – or out- of the bunk room if you have a need for it.
The living area has two overhead cabinets for storage.
All windows have custom-fit reflective insulation that velcros inside the window frame to help with temperature control in extreme heat and cold. They all also have retractable blackout roller shades.
Outdoor Living & Other Features
There is an outdoor kitchen that’s never been used. It works! We just weren’t outdoor cooking kind of people. It includes a pull-out gas range and a mini-fridge.
There is SO MUCH storage in the pass-through at the front of the RV. This spot is also wired for an outdoor TV.
On the back of this, you’ll find the water connections and an outdoor showerhead. We will include all water and sewer hoses if wanted.
This is also where we store the blocks for the jacks and wheel chokes, which we will include.
We will include the outdoor rug, two zero-gravity lounge chairs, and two folding camp chairs.
We mounted a bike rack to the back of the RV that will hold up to 4 bikes.
3 30 lb propane tanks are included.
There are 2 AC units and a furnace. Overall, they kept us very comfortable. We will also include two small electric space heaters, which we used simply to keep our propane costs down.
The front of the RV, under the nose, has another storage space. In here, we will include 6 12v RV batteries. We’ve been able to boondock with this setup for up to 3 days (with minimal use).
There are two electric awnings. They are in great working condition and not bent, but one has a couple small tears which have been mended.
The only visible flaws on the outside of the RV are two tears in the roof lining- one on each side. They have been sealed and mended per industry standards, and we have experienced zero leakage or problems since.
We will include a hitch lock to prevent people from hitching up and driving off with your home.
There are also solar panel connections.
The B&W hitch is NOT included in the price listed, but we will consider selling it. It has a Ford parts system.
Specifications & Other Info About Our Jayco RV For Sale
This is a 5th wheel, meaning you need a powerful truck with a hitch to pull it. Wondering why we chose a 5th wheel over a motorhome (an RV that your drive)? It came down to safety and living space for us. More here.
It’s just about 43 feet long, and it’s dry hitch weight is 2725 (before adding water, cargo, and other add ons).
Read more about the weights and measurements from Jayco.
It’s very important that you have a truck powerful enough to tow this. We drove a 2017 Ford f350 Super Duty dually. It’s not for sale at this time, but if you find a model like it, we’re confident in that combination. (And let us know if you want us to sell you the hitch.)
Price & Delivery
The price of this model new was over $85,000 at the time we purchased. We are asking $45,000 for the RV and everything we’re including. You will have everything you need (minus the truck and hitch) to get going, and live COMFORTABLY on the road for a long time.
We will deliver anywhere in the Austin or San Antonio, TX area for free, and will consider delivering or meeting up nearly anywhere else within the continental US for an agreed-upon fee, based on the distance of travel.
