While visiting Orlando at the start of our RV trip in 2018, our family found ourselves with one extra day to sightsee. We made the decision to spend the day at Universal and pack in as much we could at both Universal Studios and the connected Universal Islands of Adventure. The best way to do this, which actually SAVED us money was to stay one night at a Universal hotel.
Covering two huge theme parks in one day with four kids (ages ranged from 1 to 9) was a challenge, but I’m happy to say we squeezed every penny out of our tickets for that day, and I shared all about how we did it and how the hotel helped us save money over on The Points Guy.
